Job Description

A boutique California law firm specializing in natural resources and land-use matters is seeking associates with relevant land-use and environmental experience to join its Greater Sacramento area office. The firm advises clients on permitting, compliance, transactional matters, and litigation for major projects across the state.

The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, excellent writing and research abilities, and the capacity to manage complex legal issues while contributing effectively in a collaborative environment. Successful applicants will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a solid work ethic.

Experience with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), CEQA litigation, the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the California Endangered Species Act (CESA), the federal Endangered Species Act (ESA), and state and federal environmental regulatory agencies is preferred. Membership in the California Bar is required.
